Kara Shanahan Alterio, PT
Kara received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy at Northeastern University in Boston at the Bouve College of Health Sciences in 1995. She completed her internships and training at Beth Israel Hospital in the outpatient Orthopedic department, Brigham and Women's Hospital working on Total Joint Replacement Research and Milton Hospital rotating in the outpatient, inpatient and transitional care. Kara prefers a more hands on approach incorporating massage, myofascial release and joint mobilization techniques. Kara works in the Abington and Brockton office treating Neurological and Orthopedic conditions.

Sarah Veiga, PT                                                                                                                          Sarah is a staff physical therapist and clinic manager of the Whitman clinic. She graduated from Northeastern University in 2009 and received her Doctorate degree in physical therapy with a concentration in Early Intervention. During her cooperative education and clinical affiliations she gained experience treating patients after total joint replacements at New England Baptist Hospital and South Shore Hospital. In addition to treating orthopedic and sports related injuries at two outpatient orthopedic clinics. Sarah has also worked with infants and toddlers from 0-3 with gross motor developmental delays. Her main focus is to work with patients on an individual level to help reach their goals and maximize function.
