Alyssa Bissonnette

Alyssa graduated with a BS in Rehabilitation Sciences followed by her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University. She has experience in treating orthopedic injuries, burns, amputations and trauma through her co-ops and clinical rotations. She has a special interest in treating shoulder pathologies along with other sports and orthopedic injuries. Alyssa is certified in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease through the LSVT BIG program.

Alyssa grew up in New Hampshire and was a competitive swimmer for 13
years. She enjoys reading a good book in her spare time. Alyssa is conversational in Haitian Creole.

Maura Molinaro

Maura graduated from Northeastern University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While in school Maura spent time working in multiple settings including outpatient orthopedics, inpatient surgical/general medicine, and outpatient pediatrics. Maura has a special interest in treating patients of all ages with orthopedic conditions with a focus on manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education.

Maura grew up in West Roxbury and participated in numerous sports, but most loved playing competitive volleyball for 8 years, which including a 2 week tour in Brazil.
In her free time Maura enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and traveling.

Maura works in West Roxbury Monday through Friday.

Phil Welsh

Phil graduated with a BS in athletic training followed by his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, both from Boston University. He has experience in treating acute and chronic orthopedic injuries both on and off the field through his previous athletic training work at MIT and physical therapy and athletic training clinical rotations. Additionally, Phil has experience treating patients of all ages with neurological conditions, including but not limited to, stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and multiple sclerosis.

Phil grew up in New Jersey and has dual citizenship with the USA and UK. He played club soccer at Boston University until graduating and also enjoys ice hockey, snowboarding, and hiking. He participates as a medical volunteer in Boston sporting events, including finish line assignments at the Boston Marathon since 2013. Phil speaks conversational Italian and has lots of good stories after backpacking around Southeast Asia during the summer of 2016.

Tamara received her Bachelor’s in Athletic Training in 2014, and completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University. During her clinical education, she had the opportunity to work with patients ranging from professional athletes to older adults, and loves helping athletes bridge the gap between rehabilitation and sport. Tamara is also a Certified Athletic Trainer, and had the opportunity to cover MIT athletics, BU Men’s and Women’s rugby, as well as middle school and high school sports.

 

While growing up in the suburbs of Seattle, WA, she played basketball, swam, and enjoyed as much coffee and pacific salmon as possible. She’s had the opportunity to travel to Peru, Jordan, Egypt, Italy, and France. Tamara is excited to call Boston her new home and hopes to someday get accustomed to the snowfall!
